Going to Germany for an English-taught degree
German is not required for admission to most English-taught programmes. It becomes useful for part-time work, working-student positions, internships and daily life once you arrive.
Preparing for German-taught study
German-taught programmes generally require advanced German. The exact level and certificate depend on the university. A1 and A2 are the beginning of a longer path, not the end of it.
Building a career where German matters
Some roles in engineering, automotive, IT services and related sectors value German. Requirements vary by employer, and B2 is usually a more realistic working target than A1 or A2.
The level path

A2 costs more than A1 because it is the higher language level, not because it contains more classes or more hours. Both courses run 45 classes over 65+ hours.
Examination fees are separate and are paid directly to the relevant examination centre. They are not included in the Bluehawks course fee.
